I am an experienced film producer and fixer working with advertising agencies, film and post-productions, companies and individuals.
As a freelance film producer ,I provide support in realisation of any kind of film projects. This support may include consulting in one single production issue or managing and/or coordinating a complete film project from initial concept to final delivery. Whether I am working on big budget productions or smaller independent projects, I am always excited to collaborate with a team of creative people to take on new challenges. In fact, my favorite projects have involved figuring out how to deliver on something that hasn’t been done before.
As a fixer, I work for foreign production companies, advertising agencies and journalists working on stories, documentaries, TV Commercials and campaigns in Kenya and sometimes Tanzania and Uganda. Being a well rounded East African, I understand the situations and complexities of my country and neighbouring countries. This understanding will enable your projects to be authentic and run as smoothly as possible. If you have a project in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and you are looking for someone who understands the terrain and knows the best vehicles to use at an affordable price. I am your Girl. I have vast connections with car hire companies, helicopter companies and can arrange for you and your team how to move from one point to another smoothly without you having to think about it. I will ensure the drivers have the filming and working schedules and coordinate with them throughout the project. These vehicles could vary from a Bentley to a safari Landcruiser.
I assist production companies, related media and film professionals with obtaining film permit and work permit. I also help you learn about specific regulations such a ban on drones or how to bring one or filming in a public or government place. With regards to deadlines, application documents and local clearance, I will handle the application process for the filming and work permits. With the right information of specific locations you want to film at, I will send you notes on the costs involved, requirements and the process of obtaining the permit.
